Build a Foundation for Your Bachelor’s Degree

Austin Community College’s General Studies of Arts Program provides you the chance to find your passion while completing the foundation of a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts or other discipline. Faculty and advisors will help you create a course plan for university transfer or to allow you to discover your field of interest to enter the workforce. With courses in writing, math, and the sciences, you’ll learn to become a more critical thinker, capable writer, and problem solver.

Several male and female students in an Intro to Psychology class play games to learn about human behavior.
General Studies in Arts provides a foundation in the liberal arts that prepares ACC students to transfer to a four-year college or university.
