Train in the Culinary Arts at ACC
Get hands-on experience earning culinary certificates and/or an associate degree as a professional chef or pastry artist. State-of-the-art kitchen facilities are your training ground at ACC, with practicum-based programs and real service experiences at Eatery 43, Highland Campus’s student-run restaurant.
Graduates of Austin Community College’s Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts programs are highly sought after from Central Texas employers. You can start with support at ACC, learning alongside small classes of 12 students to each instructor, then transfer to a 4-year university with the valuable certifications, experiences like Study Abroad, and internships needed to succeed.
Students will enroll in an associate degree or focused career certificate program while specializing in the Culinary Arts or Baking/Pastry Arts. Practicum-based training and internships are built into your program map.

Austin Community College District’s Culinary Arts Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
ACC’s Highland Campus, located in Central Austin, is the primary campus for Culinary and Pastry Arts students.
